Meet Charlene
My entire professional life has involved direct interaction with the public, whether it’s been ensuring the comfort of hotel guests, supporting business clients, or welcoming visitors – I’ve always valued the opportunity to help and brighten someone’s day.
The past few years I’ve had the privilege of volunteering with Community Support Connections in Breslau as a volunteer driver for their Meals on Wheels program. The highlight of my weeks while I volunteered was having the opportunity to visit Seniors in our community and check in with them while sharing a brief, friendly visit.
My sincere hope in opening my own cafe right here in Breslau is to have the opportunity to be a positive, memorable part of your day, greeting you with a welcoming smile and making you feel completely at home.
I believe this comes naturally from my family’s east-coast roots and the time I spent as a child spending summers with my family in the small town of Caraquet. I genuinely love to play the part of the hostess and hospitality is just part of who I am and how I want people to feel when they’re around me.
I put my whole heart into everything I do. Whether it’s serving coffee, caring for my family, giving my fur babies love and affection, my life is all about love.
Opening this cafe & ice cream shop is the fulfillment of a dream that I have had for decades, simply because of a desire to create a warm, welcoming environment where the community can connect & gather and enjoy something delicious to eat with friends, family and loved ones.
